Advertising/Marketing Opportunities for Chamber Members

1 - Quarterly Newsletter,
Presented by the Richmond Register.
The quarterly newsletter, Chamber News , is a 16-page tabloid that is mailed to the Richmond Chamber membership and auxiliary database (reaching approximately 1,000 households) and distributed through the Richmond Register (reaching approximately 1,000 households) and distributed through the Richmond Register (reaching approximately 9,000 households). Full color front, back and centerfold ads are available as well as spot color ads and black/white.
Chamber News advertising will be sold for the full year (to include ads in the next 3 quarters). Ad content can be changed each quarter, but not ad size. Ad copy deadline is 1 month before the distribution date.

2 - Monthly Luncheon Series - Opportunities are available for sponsorship of a monthly luncheon. The cost is $300 and you have the chance to talk about your business or organization for 3-5 minutes, plus give out door prizes or small gifts to attendees. Sponsor will also receive logo placement on all publications pertaining to the event, signage at the event, and two lunch tickets. Attendance generally runs at 90-100.
Presenting Sponsorships are also available for the luncheon program on a year-to-year basis at $1,500. Sponsor receives signage at the event, recognition, and logo on every month's invitation.

3 - Business Before Hours/Thursday Night Live! - These are great networking opportunities. Each month, a different business hosts the Chamber members from 7:30 - 9 a.m /4 - 6:30 p.m. The cost is $350 and the host is also responsible for food, refreshments, entertainment and door prizes. Or you can pay $1500 and the Chamber will handle all details for you. At these events, Chamber members will have the opportunity to purchase a table top display for $25 per event. You have the option of having a co-host.
Presenting Sponsorships are available on a year-to-year basis for BBH at $1,000 and for TNL at $1,500. Signage at every event and logo on every invitation are provided.

4 - Newcomer Program - Each month the Chamber receives numerous calls about relocation information. For a fee of $75 per year, plus 250 brochures, flyers or coupons, you can be included in this packet of information that goes out to those who are looking to move into our area. You are limited to 2 items and they must be flat, light-weight material. A summary sheet will be included listing participants.
Presenting Sponsorships are available on a year-to-year basis where your logo is placed on the outside of every packet. Cost is $500.

5 - Publications - The Chamber publishes a Membership Directory each year that lists all members alphabetically and categorically. We also work with outside vendors to produce a Richmond Magazine and City/County Map on a rotating year basis. Advertising prices vary for each of these publications.

6 - Golf Tournament - This is an annual event held the 3rd Thursday in May. Members have the opportunity to sponsor a hole ($250), green ($120) or a cart ($100), or donate door prizes or items for goodie bags. In addition, there is a corporate title sponsorship for $4,000 that gives you extensive exposure. The corporate sponsorship can be split between two members.

7 - Awards Banquet & Annual Meeting - Held at the first of the year, the Awards Banquet honors outstanding community leaders. The Annual Meeting (held in conjunction with the Banquet) provides a year in review of the Chamber and recognizes outgoing/incoming officers and board members.
Presenting Sponsorship is $4,000.

8 - Shop Richmond - Designed to encourage holiday shoppers to stay in Richmond, this campaign is targeted at retailers but any business may participate. For $75, you are provided a Shop Richmond poster and are included in all publicity. Local media offers discounted advertising rates for partners. In addition, the Chamber contributes $5,000 that is matched by the media for extensive advertising during the months of November and December.

9 - CityFest - The Chamber partners with Eastern Kentucky University in early September to provide a trade show for businesses to showcase their items and services to EKU students on campus. This event is also open to the general public. The cost to participate is $75 per member ($100 per non-member).

10 - Pops at the Park - This exciting family event takes place in August each year at White Hall State Historic Site and features the Eastern Kentucky University Symphony Orchestra. Sponsorships vary.

11 - Madison County Business & Education Partnership (MCBEP) Career Day - Designed for high school seniors to showcase various career opportunities. Sponsorships vary.

13 - Ambassador Program - Ambassadors, who serve as liaisons between the Chamber and our members, meet for lunch once a month. Presenting Sponsorships are available on a year-to-year basis for $1,200.

14 - Chamber e-News! - The official e-newsletter of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce is powered by nTarget. Chamber e-News! is delivered to over 800 inboxes biweekly (plus forwarding ability).
Presenting Sponsorships are available on a year-to-year basis for $1,800. Logo is placed at the top of every e-Newsletter.

** Corporate sponsorship packages are also available that give the member a wide range of programs and events in which to be involved.
