Seminars and workshops on marketing, human resources, finance, taxes, technology, and so much more are offered on a regular basis. Our monthly luncheon speaker or panel discussion is always focused on business issues relating to economic development.

The Chamber is your business advocate on the local, regional, state and national level with action plans and communication with members of the General Assembly, Congress and Chamber members, on key issues important to Madison County and Richmond.

Roundtable & Box Lunch Program

Roundtable & Box Lunch programs enable members to learn about a variety of issues and opportunities in an informal discussion -based setting.

With more than 700 members the Chamber speaks with a strong and credible voice for business in Madison County on local, regional, and state issue and legislation. Our Legislative Box Lunch Programs have been proven to be very successful in giving our members and opportunity to voice their concerns on such as health care, growth, agriculture and more.

When a call comes into our office or someone visits we refer only Chamber members for goods and services to be purchased in Madison County. We also aid newcomers with relocating packets to foster development and growth.

Regional Cooperation

The Richmond Chamber has cultivated relationships with many other chambers and regional organizations in Central Kentucky through the Bluegrass Partnership Initiative, the Lexington Chamber and Bluegrass Tomorrow which gives value to our members. Our recent programs for the large industries, manufactures, and agriculture in conjunction with the Berea Chamber have been successful. "Working together for Madison County."

Through the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, members of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce can now sign up for ChamberAdvantage.

The Chamber distributes brochures, business cards, flyers, and booklets about any Chamber member that provides copies. This is valuable exposure to the hundreds of consumers who come through our offices on Main Street monthly.
