Message from the President

Welcome to the Richmond Chamber of Commerce! On behalf of the entire Chamber Board of Directors and Staff, I would like to thank you for supporting the chamber. Your Chamber of Commerce represents over 500 local companies and organizations.

It is with great pride and honor that I have the opportunity to serve you as the 2013 Chamber President. As your President, my overarching goal for 2013 is to continue our legacy as a Chamber that thinks broadly, sees clearly and feels deeply about our community.

We will make the case for your Chamber membership by delivering tangible benefits directly to your businesses and organizations. We have listened to our membership and will continue to offer opportunities for Chamber members to do business together, gain access to new opportunities and grow the economy.

As you know, the Chamber cannot guarantee your success. However, we can and will expose you to opportunities for success. You will have to "join in" and become even more active and engaged if we are going to succeed together. You will get back what you put in!

As your newest Chamber President, I will do my best to ensure our continued growth and achievement. 2013 promises to be another exciting year for you and your Richmond Chamber of Commerce. No one of us alone is as good as all of us when we work together.

We must make a conscious effort to do business together. We must support local business and organizations. Together, we can make our community a model for how to integrate businesses, non-profits, governments and our University community. Let's work together to drive commerce, create synergies for success and work daily to improve the place we call home.
