Advancing our Mission

Chamber Leadership

Strong leadership begins with service. The Richmond Chamber of Commerce is guided by its President & CEO, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and supported by dedicated Chamber Ambassadors. Together, they advance the Chamber's mission through care, connection, and collaboration.

Colleen Spencer, President & CEO of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce
Colleen E. Spencer | PRESIDENT & CEO
Since 2023, Colleen Spencer has led the Richmond Chamber of Commerce as President & CEO, championing its members and strengthening connections throughout Greater Madison County. She provides strategic leadership for the Chamber, works closely with the Board of Directors, and oversees member engagement, partnerships, programs, events, and organizational operations.

Colleen currently serves as vice chair of Leadership Central Kentucky and on the boards of Leadership Madison County, CASA of the Wilderness Trail, and the Richmond Area Arts Council. She is a past president of the Downtown Richmond Association and the Pattie A. Clay Auxiliary (PACA).

"Every Chamber member has a story, and one of the greatest privileges of my work is getting to know yours. Behind every business and organization are people who have worked hard, taken risks, and chosen to invest in our community. I never take your partnership, or the trust that comes with it, for granted. I am grateful to serve you, proud to celebrate your successes, and honored to walk with you." - Colleen Spencer
