Madison Young Professionals (MYP) is a Chamber initiative serving those young in age, young in career, and those simply young at heart. MYP, until recently, was known as the Richmond Young Professionals Association (RYPA), founded in 2015 by a group of young professionals under the common goal to create an organization that provided emphasis on personal, civic and professional development for local professionals between the ages of 21-40 in the Greater Richmond Area.
We are increasing the community of this group to engage all of Madison County! Additionally, there is no longer an age limit set to be a member of this organization.

MYP provides a place for young professionals in the Madison County area to come together and build trust and rapport among their peers, and participate in community-based events. We know we are only as strong as our professional network, and only as successful as the community in which we live and work. Through networking, professional development, and philanthropy, MYP’s goal is to work to coach the next generation of leaders and improve the quality of life in Madison County. 

Our mission as the Madison Young Professionals is to be dedicated to our members' professional & personal development increasing intellectual, financial, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being through mentor-ship and community.

We hold luncheons every month at Gillum's Sports Lounge to grow our network and expand our knowledge through our monthly guest speakers. We also host after hour events to unwind and mingle with our peers as well as many other events throughout the year.
